Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Sporting Lisbon vs. Chaves.

Maritimo vs. Portimonense (Saturday, 3.30pm)

Saturday's Primeira Liga action gets underway at the Estadio dos Barreiros where Maritimo and Portimonense go head to head in a thrilling matchup.

While the visitors have won their last two games, O Maior das Ilhas head into the weekend on a run of three defeats from their opening three games of the new campaign and will be looking to end this dry spell.

We say: Maritimo 0-2 Portimonense

After their opening-day defeat against Boavista, Portimonense have bounced back in style, winning their subsequent two outings. They head into the weekend full of confidence and we predict they will make light work of a Maritimo side who are yet to find their feet this season.

Boavista vs. Benfica (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Fresh off the back of securing their place in the group stages of the Champions League, Benfica visit the Estadio do Bessa to take on Boavista on Saturday.

Roger Schmidt's side head into the weekend on a blistering run of 12 consecutive victories across all competitions and will look to keep the juggernaut rolling.

We say: Boavista 0-2 Benfica

While Boavista will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend, standing in their way is a spirited Benfica side who have won their last 12 games across all competitions since May. We are backing As Aguias to continue in the same vein and make light work of the home side.

Sporting Lisbon vs. Chaves (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Fresh off the back of suffering their first defeat of the new Primeira Liga campaign, Sporting Lisbon play host to Chaves at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday.

Vitor Campelos's side will head into the weekend looking to get one over the home side, having lost each of the last five meetings between the teams since 2017.

We say: Sporting Lisbon 3-1 Chaves

Sporting Lisbon have staggered into the new season and find themselves five points off rivals Porto at the top of the standings. However, return home where they are currently on a run of seven wins from their last eight games, we are backing them to extend their dominance against this weekend's visitors.
