Maritimo and Chaves will both be looking to pick up their first win of the new Primeira Liga campaign when they square off at the Estadio dos Barreiros on Monday.

O Maior das Ilhas were on the receiving end of a 5-1 thumping by Porto last weekend, while the newly-promoted side fell to a slender 1-0 defeat against Vitoria de Guimaraes.

While Chaves will look to get their top-flight campaign up and running next up is a superior and more experienced Maritimo side who have won their last three home games in all competitions. With that said, we predict a cagey contest with the hosts coming away with a slender victory.

Seeking to pick up their first win of the 2022-23 Primeira Liga campaign, Arouca welcome Gil Vicente to the Estadio Municipal de Arouca on Monday.

The Gilistas, on the other hand, head into the weekend unbeaten in five consecutive games across all competitions and will be looking to make it two wins from their opening two league outings.

While Arouca will look to get their domestic assignment up and running, they face a spirited Gil Vicente side who have hit the ground running this season. We are backing the Gilistas to build on their Conference League result and end their winless run against the Arouquenses.

Pacos de Ferreira vs. Portimonense (Monday, 8.30pm)

Round two of the Portuguese Primeira Liga comes to an end on Monday when Pacos de Ferreira play host to Portimonense at the Capital do Movel Municipal Stadium.

The visiting side will head into the game seeking to get one over the Pacenses, having failed to win any of the last six meetings between the sides since May 2018.
