Portsmouth's clash with Wycombe Wanderers abandoned at half time

Portsmouth's clash with Wycombe Wanderers in League Two is abandoned at half time due to heavy rain.

Portsmouth's League Two clash with Wycombe Wanderers has been called off at half time following heavy rain throughout the first half of the match.

Thunder and lightening was witnessed around the ground as Billy Knott gave Wanderers the lead through a powerful strike.

The rain intensified throughout the first half at Fratton Park, with puddles clearly visible on the playing surface when Patrick Agyemang equalised near the end of the half.

Such was the intensity of the downpour, Pompey's substitutes were unable to pass the ball around on the pitch during the break as the officials decided to abandon the game.
