How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Lille

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Sunday night's Ligue 1 clash with Lille.

Runaway Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain will travel to second-placed Lille on Sunday night knowing that a draw would be enough to secure the title with serious room to space.

As it stands, PSG are 20 points clear of Lille with a game in hand, meaning that only a miracle of some sort will prevent Thomas Tuchel's side from landing the title once again.

The French champions were held at home by Strasbourg last weekend as they missed the chance to wrap up the championship, but they will have another opportunity on Sunday night.

Tuchel's team will face Rennes in the Coupe de France final later this month, but with no Champions League football, PSG's strongest available XI are expected to take to the field against Lille.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how the champions could line up on Sunday night.

POSS PSG XI vs. LIL

Out: Edinson Cavani (hip), Neymar (foot), Angel di Maria (hamstring), Thomas Meunier (knee)
Doubtful: Marquinhos (knock)

Neymar and Edinson Cavani are both now back in training for PSG, but neither will be involved this weekend as Tuchel takes care over the fitness of the key duo, who could yet be involved in the Coupe de France final.

Kylian Mbappe was left out of the starting XI against Strasbourg last weekend but should return. Marquinhos, though, is a slight doubt with a knock, which could see Thilo Kehrer return to the XI.

Angel di Maria and Thomas Meunier are still struggling with hamstring and knee injuries respectively, meanwhile, and neither will be included against Lille this weekend.

Julian Draxler came off the bench against Strasbourg and should start, with Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting - who has benefited from the absences of Neymar and Cavani - also expected to feature once again.
