Half-Time Report: Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 Toulouse

Paris Saint-Germain lead Toulouse by one goal despite failing to turn their dominance into clear chances for most of the first half.

Despite being frustrated by their opponents for much of the first half, Paris Saint-Germain lead Toulouse 1-0 in tonight's Ligue One match.

The first real chance of the game came after eight minutes, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic escaped the defence, only to hit his shot straight at Ali Ahamada.

PSG continued to press but could not create any clear chances and it was Toulouse who almost went ahead, but Franck Tabanou's effort was saved by Salvatore Sirigu.

The home team could have found the breakthrough on 32 minutes. Ibrahimovic played the ball across the box from the left but somehow Jeremy Menez was not able to turn the ball in at the far post.

They were not denied for long though; five minutes later Marco Verratti chipped the ball over the Toulouse defence, which had stopped in expectation of an offside flag against Ibrahimovic. It was Pastore who ran through though before lifting the ball over Ahamada to put PSG one up.
