New Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar has described his unveiling at the Parc des Princes as "magical" and "magnificent".
The 25-year-old completed his world-record £200m switch from Barcelona on Thursday, but he was unable to make his debut during the 2-0 win over Amiens this afternoon after the required paperwork was submitted late.
The Brazilian was introduced to the 45,000-strong crowd before the match, though, and he quickly outlined his intentions to help PSG to a successful season.
"This is magical, magnificent, I want to thank the supporters," he said at his unveiling.
"I am disappointed to be ineligible today, I really wanted to [play], so it will maybe be next week instead.
"In the dressing room? I am alongside Dani Alves and Thiago Silva, once again. I hope that we are going to have a great season together."
Neymar's debut is now likely to come next Sunday when PSG take on Guingamp.
