Paris Saint-Germain to axe four players this summer?

Paris Saint-Germain plan to part with Gianluigi Buffon, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves and Julian Draxler this summer, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to part with Gianluigi Buffon, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves and Julian Draxler in this summer's transfer window as the French champions plan a clear-out.

Buffon, 41, will see his current deal expire this summer, but both parties have the option of an extension.

Brazilian pair Silva, 34, and Alves, 35, meanwhile, are out of contract in 2020 and 2019 respectively.

According to Don Balon, PSG want to get all three off their books in this summer's transfer window, while Draxler will also be made available for transfer.

The Germany international has contributed five goals and 10 assists in 35 appearances this season but could be available for a price in the region of £51m at the end of the campaign.

PSG are an incredible 20 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table with a game in hand, but they were eliminated in the last-16 stage of the Champions League by Manchester United.
