Team News: Tom Carroll returns for Queens Park Rangers

Tom Carroll returns from a two-month lay-off with an ankle injury to take his place in the starting lineup as Queens Park Rangers host Bournemouth at Loftus Road tonight.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has named Tom Carroll in his starting lineup for the visit of Bournemouth at Loftus Road tonight.

The 21-year-old has spent the previous two months at parent club Tottenham Hotspur recovering from an ankle injury sustained in the 2-0 victory over Barnsley in October.

Junior Hoilett, who made a cameo in the 2-1 defeat to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, also comes back into the first XI for the first time since picking up a hamstring injury.

Elsewhere, Andrew Johnson replaces Niko Kranjcar to partner in-form marksman Charlie Austin in the front-line of the R's attack.

Meanwhile, Cherries boss Eddie Howe has named three changes to his team following the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

Andrew Surman and Shaun MacDonald come into the team at the expense of Eunan O'Kane and Ryan Fraser respectively, while Marc Pugh displaces Tokelo Rantie as Brett Pitman's strike partner.

Queens Park Rangers: Green; Simpson, Dunne, Hill, Assou-Ekotto; Carroll, Barton, O'Neil, Hoilett; Johnson, Austin

Bournemouth: Camp; Francis, Cook, Elphick, Daniels; Arter, Surman, MacDonald, Ritchie; Pitman, Pugh
