Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is reportedly close to sealing a loan switch to Palermo.
The 26-year-old has made 15 appearances for the R's this season and even featured during last night's 0-0 draw against champions Manchester City.
However, manager Harry Redknapp believes that he can cope without the Argentine's services for the remainder of the season, which has paved the way for him to join Serie A outfit Palermo, according to Sky Sports News.
It has been claimed that the Sicily-based side will take Faurlin for six months, with a view to making the move a permanent one at the end of the current campaign.
He joined QPR from Instituto in the summer of 2009.
