Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has hinted at a move for Hamburger SV playmaker Rafael van der Vaart.
The Dutchman enjoyed a successful stint at Tottenham Hotspur playing under Redknapp, who has been talking up the qualities of his former player.
"He's a great footballer, great professional and a goalscorer. He'd get you 10 to 12 goals a year in that position [behind the striker]," Redknapp is quoted as saying to West London Sport.
"I like Rafa. He's an interesting player and has got class."
QPR have already added Steven Caulker and Rio Ferdinand to their ranks this summer, while Ravel Morrison's loan stay has been extended from West Ham United.
