Half-Time Report: Rangers lead through Andrew Little, Lewis Macleod

Lewis Macleod and Andrew Little score first-half goals to give Rangers a 2-0 lead against Airdrieonians at half time.

Rangers have a 2-0 lead at half time in their Scottish League One game against Airdrieonians this evening.

The home side tested Scott Gallacher inside the opening 10 minutes, with Willie McLaren attempting to fire the ball in with a low effort, but the Rangers keeper was just able to tip the ball wide.

Colin Stewart had to make a stop at the other end in the 15th minute, as Ian Black tried to break the deadlock with a half-volley.

However, the visitors were able to take the lead just four minutes later, as Lewis Macleod picked up a pass into the box from Robbie Crawford before drilling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Ally McCoist's side doubled the lead shortly before half time, as Jon Daly headed the ball in for Andrew Little to smash it into the roof of the net.
