Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green to face charges

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green is likely to face charges relating to his time at the club.

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green is apparently likely to face charges relating to his time at the club.

According to the BBC, Green arrived at Livingston police station on Tuesday morning.

The 62-year-old took control of Rangers in 2012 after buying the club's assets following their administration and liquidation.

He stepped down following allegations that he was working alongside former owner Craig Whyte, who had been charged with being involved in a fraudulent scheme to take control of the club in 2011.

It is apparently unclear what charges Green is facing but he has spoken to police a number of times.
