Ally McCoist furious with Sone Aluko ban

Rangers boss Ally McCoist is furious with the SFA after they uphold Sone Aluko's two-match ban for alleged diving.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has expressed his anger after Sone Aluko's two-match ban was upheld by a Scottish Football Association panel.

The forward was given the ban after he won his side a penalty in their 2-1 win against Dunfermline at Ibrox last Saturday.

"The three gentlemen on the panel have effectively called my player a cheat and a liar, neither of which he is," said McCoist. "It's staggering, absolutely staggering and to say I'm angry would be a massive understatement."

The Gers will be without Aluko when they travel to Hibernian in the SPL on Saturday.
