Rangers have reportedly seen a second bid for Connor Goldson turned down by Brighton & Hove Albion.
New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is thought to have identified Goldson as one of his top transfer targets at Ibrox, but saw an initial £1.5m bid turned down last week.
The Argus reports that the Scottish outfit have since returned with another offer, but have once again been rejected by the Seagulls as they hold out for a bigger fee.
Goldson is understood to be keen on the move due to a lack of first-team football since Albion's promotion to the Premier League, with the 25-year-old making only two top-flight starts during the 2017-18 campaign.
However, Brighton are reluctant to lose him despite bringing in Nigerian international Leon Balogun earlier this week to provide further competition for places at centre-back.
