Joey Barton has reportedly decided to continue his playing career with Rangers.
The midfielder, who will become a free agent next month, played a key role in Burnley's promotion back to the Premier League last term.
The Clarets confirmed earlier today that they had offered the 33-year-old a new deal at Turf Moor.
However, soon after that news broke, Barton tweeted that he had made a "tough decision" regarding his future following recent discussions with Gers boss Mark Warburton.
Tough decision but it's now made. Onwards and upwards from here. #Rollupandspendyourlastdime

According to The Scottish Sun, the one-capped England international has now informed Rangers that he will accept their proposal of a two-year contract.
The hashtag is a line from 'Penny Arcade', which is an anthem sung by the Rangers faithful.
