Dudu to become La Liga's first Chinese player?

A report claims that Rayo Vallecano have signed Beijing Guoan's Chinese international striker Zhang Chengdong.

Rayo Vallecano have reportedly signed 26-year-old forward Zhang Chengdong, aka 'Dudu', on a long-term deal from Beijing Guoan.

The striker, who has previously played in Portugal and Germany, will become La Liga's first Chinese player if he takes to the field in the new campaign.

Dudu has managed just two league goals in 40 appearances for Guoan, while he has not scored in 18 games for his country.

The length of the contract is unclear, but according to ABC Sports, the deal was facilitated by a sponsor of the Spanish outfit.

Dudu has also previously been on trial with AC Milan.
