Reading striker Adam Le Fondre has claimed that he doesn't know whether he will still be at the club next season because of uncertainty over the ownership of the Royals.
The 27-year-old, who scored 15 goals this season, admitted that he would be open to staying at the Championship club but doesn't know what the future holds for him with recent takeover talks causing instability.
"The talks about my contract have been completely kaput," Le Fondre, 27, told BBC Radio Berkshire.
"I have no idea [what the future holds]. You know what is going on with the club and the takeover, so I don't know what will happen to be honest. I don't know what they will do with me.
"I want to stay, I'm settled. My little girl is in school here, so we'll see what happens."
Reading missed out on the Championship playoffs to the advantage of Brighton & Hove Albion.
