Pavel Pogrebnyak is reportedly expected to leave Reading at the end of the season if the club are relegated from the Premier League.

Pavel Pogrebnyak could reportedly leave Reading at the end of the season if the club are relegated from the Premier League.

The Royals are currently seven points adrift of safety with eight games left to play following Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Manchester United.

Pogrebnyak is likely to exit Reading if they go down in order to reduce the wage bill at the Madejski Stadium, according to The Mirror.

The forward has scored eight goals in 25 games for the strugglers in all competitions this season.
