Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has called upon his teammates to trust their own game ahead of the meeting with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

Los Blancos, who have misfired in La Liga this term, have the chance to rediscover their form in the Champions League last 16 against the Ligue 1 leaders.

German international Kroos has said that while Unai Emery's PSG side are a "complex team", the Spanish giants are only focusing on perfecting their own game ahead of the tie.

"We're facing one of the best goalkeepers, four of the best defenders, three of the best midfielders and three of the best strikers," the 28-year-old told the Daily Mail. "They're a complex team, they're very good but it isn't only about the attack with them.

"Of course they're good in that area, and fast. They score a lot of goals but we are concentrating on our own game. We also have magnificent defenders, midfielders, strikers and a great goalkeeper ourselves.

"It's about trusting ourselves in what we do. That will be the most important thing."

Madrid progressed to the last 16 after finishing second in Group H behind Tottenham Hotspur.
