Real Madrid have beaten Copenhagen 2-0 in the Champions League thanks to goals from Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Modric gave the visitors the lead after 25 minutes when he curled one into the top corner after displaying some neat footwork on the edge of the box.
Karim Benzema had a good chance a minute earlier when he turned on the edge of the area and fired an effort goalwards. However, his effort was saved by Johan Willand in the Copenhagen goal.
Ronaldo almost doubled the lead towards the end of the half, but Willand did well to get down to save his fizzing low effort.

Ronaldo almost added a third after 76 minutes but his curled effort could only find the post after he had worked space for the shot well with his back to goal.
