Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas will reportedly miss the European Super Cup against Sevilla on August 9 as he battles to recover from an Achilles problem.
The Costa Rican underwent surgery at the start of last month after suffering with chronic Achilles tendonitis in the latter stages of the 2015-16 campaign.
The stopper was forced to miss the Copa America as he recovered from the operation and according to Marca, it is unlikely that he will be fit to face Sevilla in the European Super Cup in a little over one month.
Navas established himself as number one at the Bernabeu last season, despite almost joining Manchester United in the final stages of last summer's transfer window.
