Gareth Bale: "The best is yet to come"

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale vows to continue improving this season.

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has insisted that "the best is yet to come" as he settles into life at the Bernabeu.

The Welshman struggled with injury in the early part of his Madrid career, but has impressed in recent weeks, scoring four times in his 10 appearances this season.

"The best is yet to come. I've just finished my pre-season and I can still give more," he told Real Madrid TV.

"Now I'll be able to score more goals and help the team achieve success. It was just a matter of time until I got to 100%. Now everyone is seeing what I can do. I need to keep working and hopefully there will be more goals."

Bale joined Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
