Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has hit out at La Liga following their decision not to postpone Saturday's clash with Osasuna.
With Storm Fiomena currently raging in Spain, fixtures have been affected and Atletico Madrid's clash with Athletic Bilbao had to be postponed after a heavy snowstorm.
However, Los Blancos' fixture with Osasuna was given the green light, and Real Madrid missed the chance to go top of the table after a goalless stalemate at the El Sadar Stadium.
Courtois has since slammed La Liga's decision to allow the game to be played, telling Movistar: "I want to thank the people of Osasuna for having the pitch like this.
"But it is unfortunate what LaLiga have done to us. We know what the conditions were, and of course we were able to play, but taking off with the frozen runway and now we can't go home. We are human and not a show.
"We have done what was asked, as if we didn't come (to Pamplona) they would have docked three points from us. But I don't think it's safe, we aren't puppets that always have to play.
'We made the effort today, but we have to think about these trips and the logistics needed to return home."
Real Madrid's local rivals Atletico remain one point clear at the top of the La Liga table with three games in hand.
