Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Osasuna

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their next La Liga game against Osasuna.

Real Madrid will be aiming to continue their impressive run of form in La Liga when they take on a struggling Osasuna side on January 9.

Los Blancos have won six of their last seven in the league, including a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday, to rise to the top of the table.

As it stands, Zinedine Zidane's side are one point clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid, but the latter now have three games in hand over their capital rivals.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Osasuna, who currently occupy 19th position in the table.

Rodrygo Goes

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Rodrygo Goes had to be stretchered off the field against Granada on December 23 after picking up a thigh problem, and the Brazilian is now facing an extended period on the sidelines, possibly as long as three months.

Sergio Ramos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: January 9 (vs. Osasuna)

Sergio Ramos missed out against Celta due to stomach problems, but the Madrid captain is likely to be available for the trip to Osasuna on January 9.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Possible return date: January 13 (vs. Athletic Bilbao)

Madrid will be unable to call upon Dani Carvajal against Osasuna as the right-back picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-0 win over Celta and will therefore miss out through suspension.
