Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola insists that the title race is not over, despite being seven points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has said that the race for the Spanish league title is not over yet.

The Catalan giants are currently seven points behind the leaders Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have dropped just eight points throughout the season so far, meaning that Barcelona can't afford to drop many more points in the rest of their league games. However, Guardiola insists that his side are not out of the title race and will keep going until the very end.

"The competition still has a long way to go," Guardiola told reporters.

"Climbing seven points is hard, climbing more is even harder. I will not let the squad drop its guard."

Barcelona's next league encounter is against Osasuna tomorrow night.
