Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo intends to see out the remainder of his playing days at the Bernabeu after reportedly agreeing to sign a new deal.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner scored 58 goals in 48 matches for Los Blancos last season to strengthen his case for being the world's best footballer.
According to Spanish publication AS, everything is now in place for Ronaldo to put pen to paper on a contract that will run through until 2021, at which point he will be 36.
It is also claimed in the same report that Gareth Bale is open to extending his Madrid terms, with talks already underway between the club and agent Jonathan Barnett.
Ronaldo is currently nursing an injury picked up at Euro 2016, which will likely keep him out of Madrid's opening league game at Real Sociedad later this month.
