Crystal Palace have reportedly made an enquiry about Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The 25-year-old has been sparingly used under Carlo Ancelotti this term and now has just under 18 months left to run on his deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ceballos has made a measly six appearances in all competitions this season - although a serious ankle injury rendered him unavailable for the final few months of 2021 - and he is expected to head elsewhere in the summer.
A return to Real Betis has been mooted for the former Arsenal loanee, but Fichajes now claims that Crystal Palace have enquired about the possibility of bringing him to Selhurst Park.
The Eagles are set to wave goodbye to Conor Gallagher as he returns to parent club Chelsea for the 2022-23 season, and the report adds that Palace will seek to make an 'irresistible' offer of €18m (£15m) to tempt Florentino Perez into selling.
Ceballos - who has only played 33 minutes of La Liga football this season - previously registered five assists in 49 Premier League matches for Arsenal during his two-year loan spell at the Emirates.
