Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is reportedly considering a surprise exit from the Bernabeu.
Modric has spent the last six years with Real, making 245 appearances in all competitions and winning La Liga and four Champions League crowns.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Inter Milan have identified Modric as a potential signing, and it could lead to the Croatia international demanding a move to San Siro.
The report suggests that Real are against parting ways with the playmaker, with Cristiano Ronaldo having already left for Juventus, but 32-year-old Modric may insist that his future lies elsewhere.
Modric only has two years remaining on his contract, potentially leaving Real with a small window to receive their full valuation of the player.
