Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale could see a move to Real Madrid collapse, with the Spanish giants struggling to find the necessary funds to complete a deal, according to reports.
It has been reported in the last week that Bale had been close to sealing a move to the Spanish capital, with Madrid agreeing to the fee demanded by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
However, according to the Daily Star, doubts have started to emerge regarding Madrid's capabilities to fund a move for the Welsh international.
The La Liga side had hoped to pay any transfer fee in instalments, but Levy has insisted that they must receive the full amount at the completion of any deal.
Madrid had also hoped that they could use a member of their squad to bring down the fee, but none of Fabio Coentrao, Angel di Maria or Alvaro Morata is keen to move to White Hart Lane.
