Paris Saint-Germain set Barcelona Neymar deadline?

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly table an ultimatum of Friday at midday for Barcelona to come up with an acceptable bid for Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain have set Barcelona a deadline over negotiations for Neymar, according to a report.

The Blaugrana have been trying to come up with an acceptable bid for Neymar for months, with players such as Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele having been previously touted as potential makeweights in the deal.

According to RAC1, however, PSG set Barcelona a deadline of midday today to come up with an acceptable offer for the Brazilian, with the threat of focusing on negotiations with Real Madrid if their demands aren't met.

The Bernabeu is believed to be the player's second choice destination, but the priority is to leave the Parc des Princes this summer.

Cadena SER report that Barcelona and PSG had verbally agreed a fee of £153.9m on Thursday, but that no formal offer actually came in, leading to PSG angrily tabling their ultimatum.

Neymar has made 58 appearances in his two years in Paris, scoring 51 goals and assisting a further 29.
