Report: Liverpool want Isco

A report claims that Liverpool are preparing a move for Real Madrid attacker Isco, who has been strongly linked with a transfer away from the Bernabeu this summer.

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Real Madrid attacker Isco.

The Spaniard proved a key performer for Los Blancos in the early stages of last season, but lost his regular role in the XI due to the form of Angel di Maria.

With James Rodriguez believed to be close to joining Madrid from Monaco, Isco's role in the side next season has become even more uncertain.

According to Goal.com, Liverpool have been encouraged in their pursuit of the former Malaga playmaker and are preparing to launch an official offer.

Liverpool have money to spend this summer following the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
