Loren praises David Moyes

Real Sociedad sporting director Loren praises David Moyes for turning the Spanish club's season around.

Real Sociedad sporting director Loren has praised David Moyes for his work since arriving at the Basque club.

A difficult start to the La Liga season saw Jagoba Arrasate lose his job in November, with Moyes arriving at the Spanish team.

The Scot has been a success since arriving in Spain, while a run of four wins from Sociedad's last five games has moved them into the top half of the table.

"It was hard for us to replace Jagoba," Loren told Marca. "But the team needed to react and it certainly has done so. Our immediate aim has been achieved.

"I think the first thing that David did when he arrived was to try to give the team more solidness and consistency, and you can see that he has achieved that. The team is improving."

Sociedad return to league action away to Malaga on Saturday.
