Reims and Ajaccio have played out a 1-1 draw in Ligue 1.

Both goals at Stade Auguste-Delaune II between the two relegation candidates came in the first half.

Adrian Mutu put visitors Ajaccio in the lead on 24 minutes when he found the target from the right side of the six-yard box.

However, 12 minutes later Reims restored parity through Aissa Mandi, who headed home Pape Souare's corner from close range.

The result sees both Reims and Ajaccio move on to 39 points from 35 matches, just five points above the relegation zone with three more rounds of games left to play this season.
