Roma forward Mattia Destro has admitted that he could be forced to leave the club due to his lack of starts this season.
The 23-year-old has made 14 league appearances for the Giallorossi in the current campaign, but half of those have come from the bench.
"Am I like the sixth man in basketball?" Destro told Rivista Undici. "It's better to be in the first five. I like the comparison, but honestly my ambition is to be among the starters.
"The only thing that doesn't change is my commitment to give the best in every minute I play. At 23, you shouldn't be considered a youngster, but it must be said it's difficult for young players.
"And there's something that should make us think - if a young player has a certain level of ability they go abroad."
Destro is in his third season at Roma, having joined the club in July 2012 from Siena.
