Preview: Rotherham United vs. Millwall

Sports Mole previews Saturday's match between Championship strugglers Rotherham United and Millwall.

Rotherham United and Millwall will meet this Saturday in what many feel could be a crucial game for both sides as they look to avoid relegation from the Championship.

In what has been a tough season for supporters of both clubs, moments of delight have been few and far between, but a victory at the weekend could be a turning point in their respective campaigns.

Millwall currently occupy 22nd spot in the table, with Rotherham just one place and three points ahead of them in a position which both Ian Holloway and Steve Evans would accept if they were offered it today.

A victory by three clear goals would see Millwall climb out of the relegation zone, but Holloway will surely be focused on the win which would pile pressure on Rotherham and the teams still battling to steer clear of the bottom three.

Holloway will need to renew confidence in the squad once again following a disappointing display in the 3-1 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday and a run of just four points from their last five games.

Evans will be keen for his side to be looking up in a congested bottom half of the table, but four games without a win means the pressure is on, and a 3-0 loss to Watford on Tuesday means the hosts will be desperate for a result.

After conceding five goals in their last two games without reply, changes are likely for Rotherham, and Adam Hammill is among the players pushing for a recall.

Magaye Gueye is part of Holloway's plans once again, and the winger could join Ricardo Fuller in returning to the starting lineup at the New York Stadium.

Rotherham:

Recent form: DWLDLL

Possible starting lineup: Collin, Hunt, Morgan, Arnason, Fryers, Hammill, Smallwood, Ward, Pringle, Derbyshire, Sammon

Millwall:

Recent form: WLWLDL

Possible starting lineup: Forde, Abdou, Dunne, Hooiveld, Harding, Fabbrini, Williams, Tonge, Gueye, Taylor-Fletcher, Fuller

Sports Mole says: 2-2
