Reported Everton and Newcastle United target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reported to be close to joining Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly close to securing the services of Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has recently been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Everton and Newcastle United.

However, it is believed that neither side are willing to match Saint-Etienne's asking price of around £17m for his signature.

German outfit Dortmund are happy to pay that figure, though, and talks with the 24-year-old's representatives are ongoing, according to Sky Sports News.

Aubameyang scored 21 goals in all competitions last season.
