Salford City goalkeeper apologies for urinating during match

Salford City goalkeeper Max Crocombe apologies for urinating during the latter stages of Saturday's National League North game against Bradford Park Avenue.

Salford City goalkeeper Max Crocombe has apologised for urinating during the latter stages of Saturday's National League North game against Bradford Park Avenue.

The 24-year-old was shown a straight red card in the 87th minute of the match, which Salford won 2-1, after relieving himself at the side of one of the home team's stands while the fixture was taking place.

Crocombe, who joined Salford in May, said that he "was in a very uncomfortable position", but offered a 'sincere apology' for his actions.

Salford, who are currently second in the National League North after 15 matches, are owned by businessman Peter Lim and former Manchester United players Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.
