Both Independiente del Valle and Universitario have struggled defensively in recent weeks so Wednesday's encounter could see plenty of goalmouth action.
The two teams will be keen to get their Copa Libertadores campaigns back on track with a victory, but we feel that the hosts will respond from last week's thrashing by Palmeiras to secure all three points at the Estadio de Liga Deportiva Universitaria.

This meeting between the two sides is the first since 2018 when Argentinian outfit River Plate came out on top with a 1-0 win, and they eventually went on to win their fourth Copa Libertadores title that year.

With both teams yet to register a win in this season's Copa Libertadores, Rentistas and Sporting Cristal clash at the Estadio Complejo Rentistas on Wednesday.
