Schalke 04 sporting director Horst Heldt has confirmed that Juventus have been given permission to hold talks with Julian Draxler's agent.
Reports on Tuesday claimed that Juve were hopeful of securing the services of the 21-year-old, and despite revealing that the Serie A champions are interested in the Germany international, Heldt insists that there is no agreement in place.
"Juventus sent us a written request asking for permission to speak with Draxler's agent. We have agreed to that request," he told Bild.
"However, at the moment we haven't received an actual offer from the Turin club."
Draxler's current deal expires in 2018.
