Kenny Miller doubtful for Scotland

A groin injury is likely to rule Kenny Miller out of Scotland's match with Liechtenstein.

Scotland's assistant manager Peter Houston has revealed that Kenny Miller is unlikely to face Liechtenstein this Saturday.

The Cardiff City striker is currently struggling with a groin injury which forced him off during the Bluebirds' loss at Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

However, Houston is hopeful that the 31-year-old will be fit to face world and European champions Spain next Tuesday.

"He is working away with the physios and hasn't joined our sessions yet," Houston told a press conference. "Saturday might be difficult but certainly for Tuesday I have high hopes for him."

Miller, who made his Scotland debut in 2001, has scored 15 goals for his country.
