West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison has pulled out of Scotland's World Cup qualifiers.

The Scottish Football Association have confirmed that the 26-year-old will be unavailable for their matches against Wales and Serbia.

The clash against Wales will be manager Gordon Strachan's first competitive game in charge since taking over the national side from Craig Levein.

Morrison suffered a hamstring injury during the Baggies' goalless draw with Stoke City at the weekend.
