The Seattle Sounders staged a second-half comeback to beat the Philadelphia Union 2-1 in their MLS clash.
The home side had an excellent chance to take the lead in seventh minute when Lamar Neagle picked up the ball inside the box, but his effort clattered off the bar and bounced clear.
Philadelphia responded to that lucky escape and took the lead when Cristian Maidana lifted a free kick into the box, and Brad Evans turned the ball into his own net as he tried to clear.
Clint Dempsey had the chance to threaten for Seattle as they won a free kick outside the area, and his powerful shot forced a good save from Zac MacMath as he punched the ball away.
The Sounders were handed a great opportunity to get back in the game when handled Amobi Okugo handled in the area. Osvaldo Alonso took the spot kick, but MacMath made an excellent save to deny him.
After the break, Seattle increased the pressure on the Union goal and eventually found a way through as Evans found Martins inside the box and he tapped the ball past MacMath.
The Sounders went close to taking the lead when Marco Pappa blasted an effort at goal, but MacMath was able to keep his shot at bay.
However, with six minutes left in the game the Sounders found a winner when Chad Marshall headed home from a corner to secure the three points for his side.
