Serbia head coach Dragan Stojkovic names Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in his starting lineup for their final World Cup 2022 Group G clash against Switzerland this evening.

Serbia head coach Dragan Stojkovic has named Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in his starting lineup for their final World Cup 2022 Group G clash against Switzerland this evening.

The Eagles need to claim all three points if they are to have any hope of advancing to the last 16, while a draw will be enough for the Swiss to secure a top-two place in Group G, as long as Cameroon fail to beat Brazil.

Vlahovic began on the bench for Serbia's first two group matches, but he is handed a start this evening, with midfielder Nemanja Maksimovic dropping to the substitutes' bench.

The remaining 10 players in Stojkovic's sid remain the same, with a back three of Nikola Milenkovic, Milos Veljkovic and Strahinja Pavlovic shielding goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, while Andrija Zivkovic and Filip Kostic operate as wing-backs.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will partner Sasa Lukic in centre-midfield, with captain Dusan Tadic continuing in the number 10 role behind Vlahovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic up front.

As for Switzerland, Murat Yakin has made three changes to his starting lineup, with Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabian Schar and goalkeeper Gregor Kobel coming in to replace Fabian Rieder, Nico Elvedi and Yann Sommer respectively.

Newcastle United's Schar slots into the back four alongside Silvan Widmer, Manuel Akanji and Ricardo Rodriguez, while captain Granit Xhaka, Remo Freuler and Djibril Sow all retain their places in centre-midfield.

Shaqiri, meanwhile, takes the place of Rieder on the right flank, joining Breel Embolo and Ruben Vargas in attack.

Serbia starting lineup: V. Milinkovic-Savic, Milenkovic, Veljkovic, Pavlovic; Zivkovic, S. Milinkovic-Savic, Lukic, Kostic; Tadic; A. Mitrovic, Vlahovic

Subs: Dmitrovic, Erakovic, Maksimovic, Radonjic, Jovic, Maksimovic, S. Mitrovic, Babic, Racic, Duricic, Lazovic, Ilic, Grujic

Switzerland starting lineup: Kobel; Widmer, Akanji, Schar, Rodriguez; Freuler, Xhaka, Sow; Shaqiri, Embolo, Vargas

Subs: Sommer, Omlin, Kohn, Fernandes, Zakaria, Seferovic, Steffen, Aebischer, Fassnacht, Comert, Frei, Elvidi, Rieder, Jashari
