Preview: Peterborough United vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole previews the Championship relegation clash between Peterborough United and Sheffield Wednesday.

Peterborough United take on Sheffield Wednesday at London Road this weekend in what promises to be a tense Championship relegation scrap.

Posh are one of three teams in the bottom four on 51 points, but can move within touching distance of their 19th-placed opponents with a win on Saturday.

Darren Ferguson's side will be hoping to get their survival bid back on track after their unbeaten run came to an abrupt end with last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Derby County.

Peterborough are likely to be without the services of defenders Mark Little and Michael Bostwick, who both have hamstring injuries, while Gabriel Zakuani is expected to shrug off the knock he took against Derby.

Wednesday are in solid form themselves, with just one defeat in their last six.

The Owls are expected to be without Jermaine Johnson (hamstring) and Reda Johnson (foot), but the fit-again Gary Madine could potentially feature.
