Report: Aberdeen keen on Stevie May

A report in Scotland claims that Aberdeen are hoping to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Stevie May.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has reportedly made Stevie May one of his major summer transfer targets.

The 22-year-old striker joined Sheffield Wednesday from St Johnstone in 2014, but he managed to score just seven goals in his 42 appearances last term.

As a result, it has been suggested that Wednesday would be prepared to part with the Scotland international, which has alerted McInnes, according to the Daily Record.

The report adds that talks between the two clubs have already taken place, with a season-long loan deal now a possibility.
