Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino wants his players to take maximum points from their remaining games in the Premier League this season.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has urged his players to take maximum points from their remaining games in the Premier League this season.

The Saints, who are unbeaten in their last six matches, welcome West Bromwich Albion to St Mary's Stadium on Saturday.

Victory for the hosts could see them move into the top half of the table.

"It is really important for us to finish the season well," Pochettino is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We have to get the maximum number of points out of the games we have left, starting on Saturday.

"We know that the game against West Brom will be a tough one, we know they are a good side but at the same time we are on a good run of games."

Southampton go into the match against West Brom on the back of a goalless draw with Swansea City last weekend.
