Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Celtic striker Gary Hooper during the January transfer window.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon recently admitted that there was "no guarantee" that the 24-year-old would be committing himself to a contract extension at Parkhead.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins, who sold Hooper to the Scottish champions when he was in charge of Scunthorpe United two years ago, is now keen on bringing the forward to the Premier League, according to The Mirror.
Hooper has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances for Celtic this season.
