The controversial frontman also has the golden boot in his sights. He is currently joint top of the rankings on three goals and if he finds the net tomorrow, only Fabregas and Torres (two apiece) can realistically stop him from winning the award.
Full-backs Ignazio Abate and Christian Maggio will also be available for selection following an injury and suspension respectively.
Italy head into the encounter having not lost a competitive fixture against Spain in almost 100 years.
