Spain's Cesc Fabregas: 'We must be competitive'

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas expects Chile to provide a tough test on Tuesday.

Cesc Fabregas has called on Spain to be competitive when they face Chile in a friendly on Tuesday.

The Barcelona midfielder, who is expected to start for La Roja in Geneva, has also branded South American players "warriors".

"The South American players are warriors, they always push forward and run a lot. If you let them play, apart from their competitiveness, they are very talented," Fabregas told reporters at a press conference.

"They have important players from great clubs and they are very attacking. The fundamental thing is that we have to go out and compete."

Spain were 2-0 winners over Finland in their World Cup qualifier last week.
