Xavi Hernandez: Spain can beat anyone

Xavi Hernandez believes that Spain are capable of beating any of their rivals.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez believes that Spain are capable of beating any team they come up against.

Spain take on England at Wembley on Saturday and Xavi is confident that they can come away from London with a win.

"It's not easy and we know we're in London for a hard test against a very strong opponent," said Xavi.

"But I'm optimistic. We believe that with our style, we can beat any rival."

The 31-year-old is wary of underestimating Saturday's opponents though.

"This isn't a simple friendly match but a prestige match," Xavi added.

"We're the World Cup champions and England are big team. Our challenge is to offer a good image and to win."

Xavi, who has made 105 appearances for his country, was part of Spain's European Championship and World Cup-winning teams.
